Boy Scouts of America, Gulf Stream Council
Boy Scouts of America prepares young people to make ethical, moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Scouting is an educational program designed to engage character development, citizenship and personal fitness through adventure, service, achievement and leadership training. Scouting builds character and community through a variety of activities including camping, sailing, community service projects and more. Not only do the programs reinforce the positive development cultivated in home and school, but they also bring opportunity to at-risk youth. The Gulf Stream Council currently serves more than 7,250 Scouts in a seven-county area.
