He’s an award-winning journalist who was a senior editor with Philadelphia Magazine before moving to Florida. A graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia, he wholeheartedly roots for the Explorers in basketball and fervently roots against Temple, St. Joe, Villanova and some Ivy League school … oh, Penn.
Nicole Ruth was recently named publisher of Boca Life Magazine. She delights in the prospect of taking her seasoned career to new heights, utilizing over 25 years of varied experience and steadfast passion in the industry she has always adored. She spent the last nine years at the Boca Raton Observer as director of account development, and has held positions at various lifestyle publications including Palm Beach Illustrated, Luxury Living Magazine and Ocean Drive. Upon her promotion to this coveted position, Nicole proudly remarked, "Ahhh, this is the Life— pun intended." Nicole supports many local charitable endeavors. Sherry Goodman-Ash is the associate publisher for Boca Life Magazine. After graduating from Syracuse University, she began her career in the buying program at Bloomingdale’s department store in New York City. She later moved to Perugia, Italy, where she lived for almost five years, working and attending the university. Alyssa Morlacci is the managing editor of Gulfstream Media Group. She moved to South Florida after graduating from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University in Ohio. During her time at Kent State, she attained high honors and served as editor-in-chief of the university’s award-winning magazine, The Burr. Following graduation, Alyssa worked for Cleveland Magazine and The Independent in Ohio, and for South Florida’s Sun Sentinel. When she isn’t obsessing over sentence structures, she’s likely sipping a cup of coffee, packing her bags for a weekend trip or participating in the latest exercise fad.
Melissa Puppo joined Gulfstream Media Group as associate editor upon graduating from Kent State University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She held numerous student media positions, including editor in chief of A Magazine, Kent State's fashion publication. She served as a student ambassador for the College of Communication and Information and interned at WHIRL Magazine. Although she hails from Pittsburgh, South Florida always has been a part of her life growing up. She won't be trading in her black and gold spirit anytime soon, though, and will gladly cheer for all Pittsburgh sports team, especially the Pirates. Holly Gambrell joined the Gulfstream team as a web editor after graduating from High Point University in North Carolina. During college she interned for Modern Luxury's DC Magazine in Washington, DC and Good Housekeeping Magazine in New York City. She originally hails from Frederick, Maryland. Craig R. Cottrell
Our esteemed art director was born in New York and raised in South Florida. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. While destiny initially pointed to a career as an illustrator, like his grandfather, graphic design and eventually web design became his focus. He joined Gulfstream Media Group in 2000 and was promoted to art director soon after. As art director, his duties include the design of all editorial pages and covers as well as managing all of the company’s websites. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, playing guitar and the endless pursuit of breaking par.
Gloria Stuart is the travel editor for Gulfstream Media Group. She has traveled to all seven continents several times and has brought her wealth of experience to Gulfstream during the last 14 years. In her free time, she enjoys working with charitable organizations, including Tri-County Humane Society and Henderson Behavioral Health.
