Oliv Pit Athenian Grille Opens In Boca Raton Serving Up Greek Cuisine With Modern Twists
A new Greek restaurant has hit the foodie scene in Boca Raton at the Shoppes at Village Pointe. Oliv Pit Athenian Grill features authentic Athenian cuisine that reinterprets classic recipes with a modern twist.
The restaurant imports most of its ingredients from Greece and is the first restaurant in America to use barbecue briquettes made of olive pits to grill its meats—a popular practice in Greece and elsewhere in Europe.
The menu features starters and appetizers, a variety of Greek salads, Greek specialties and desserts. You can expect eggplant spread; zucchini croquettes; Greek bruschetta; arugula salad; skewers; pita wraps; gyro; lamb chops; and more.
Sweet desserts include baklava, orange cake, walnut cake and Greek yogurt.
The 84-seat restaurant features an open kitchen and outdoor seating in both the front of the restaurant and in the back courtyard.
