26 Degree Brewing Co. Opens In Pompano Beach Friday, Joining South Florida’s Growing Craft Beer Scene
Another brewery will join Pompano Beach’s emerging craft beer scene this week.
26 Degree Brewing Co. will open for business Friday, Sept. 18, at 2 p.m.
The space, located at 2600 E. Atlantic Blvd., has a 30-seat, 4,600-square-foot tap room with a stage for live music and additional seating for patrons.
The brewery's flagship beers include an Indian Pale Ale, brown IPA, scotch ale, lager and a Russian Imperial stout named Ziko’s Rage, but the tap list for the grand opening is a secret.
26 Degree Brewing Co. got its start in 2014 after founder and self-taught home-brewer Greg Lieberman received a Facebook message from his high school friend Yonathan Ghersi. The pals met up in Lieberman’s garage, and everything kind of took off from there.
Although this company was started in a garage, Lieberman now makes about 930 gallons of the good stuff at the brew house in Pompano Beach.
Lieberman—who brews his own batch of fall pumpkin stout—is looking forward to the brewery’s opening.
“To say the least we are pretty stoked about the beers we’ve made,” he told Voice Media Group. “They’ve come out exactly how we wanted, or even better.”
The tap room will be open Monday through Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. to midnight; Saturday from noon to midnight; and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
