Boca-Based Orangetheory Fitness Ranks High on List of the 50-Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies Around the Globe

There’s no doubt that women around the world are strong and resilient, and South Florida women are no exception. 

Two South Florida businesses, Orangetheory Fitness created by Ellen Latham and A-Plus Meetings & Incentives owned by Patty Klein, have been recognized as two of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies around the globe. The rankings are created and released by the Women Presidents’ Organization in partnership with American Express

Fitness studio franchise Orangetheory Fitness is the fastest growing women-owned business and is appearing on the list for the second time, moving up from its number 3 spot on the 2016 list to number one on the 2017 list. The seven-year-old Boca Raton based company, led by Ellen Latham, saw its revenue flourish from $86,842,513 in 2014 to $451,101,433 in 2016 and hired 98 employees during that time span. 

Patty Klein of A-Plus Meetings & Incentives

Coral Gables-based A-Plus Meetings & Incentives is a meeting and incentive planning firm owned and founded by Patty Klein. It ranked number 42 on the list. Klein saw her 24-year-old company’s revenues increase from $14,634,626 in 2014 to $26,850,637 in 2016, citing her top strategy as “putting customers first.”
