In a rush? Here's what the bigger chains are doing:

Brooklyn Water Bagel is offering a free cold Brewsta with any purchase and $1 cups of coffee during the entire month of September. So, hurry up and get your caffeine fix.

Dunkin’ Donuts is offering guests a medium, hot or iced, dark roast coffee for free. Yes, you read that right.

Krispy Kreme is giving away a free doughnut with the purchase of a coffee.

Starbucks isn't giving away free caffeine, but it is giving back to farmers: Starting Tuesday, the chain will plant a coffee tree for every bag of coffee purchased in stores through September 2016.
