Our 5 Favorite Trendy Looks During Delray Beach Fashion Week

Our 5 Favorite Trendy Looks During Delray Beach Fashion Week

Fashion Week isn’t just for New York City or Paris. Delray Beach hosted its own Fashion Week from Jan. 25 to 29, bringing designer collections, pop-up boutiques and parties for locals to attend.

During the Jan. 26 “Delray on the Runway” event at Il Bacio, guests donned their favorite white ensembles for a chic White Party, and watched as models strutted their stuff wearing fashions from Downtown Delray Beach designers, including House of Perna, Ramona LaRue, Oh My Bod and Roxy Lulu.

We picked out some of our favorite looks from the runway, while looking ahead to what will be trending this spring. The best part? You can hit up Delray Beach and shop for any of the pieces below.

5. Glavidia, Glavidia Alexis

We adore this outfit for its rich color and varied textures. Glavidia’s design blends a form-fitting skirt with intricate details and pairs it with a sheer top, ideal for an elegant date night or gala event.

4. DeBilzan, William DeBilzan

Fashionable art is slowly making its way into everyday wear, and we see this in William DeBilzan’s design. Featuring hand-painted artwork, this blazer will turn any man’s wardrobe from boring to bold. Ladies, take note for your man.

3. The Sandy Shoppe, July Ortega

With Pantone’s recent announcement that Greenery is its 2017 Color of the Year, who wouldn’t want to stand out wearing this cute two-piece bathing suit? It features crisp colors in a tropical print and also includes a criss-cross tie-back for a fun, detailed touch. Lucky for us South Floridians, we don’t have to wait for summer to rock this swimwear.

2. Glavidia, Glavidia Alexis

Heads turned when Glavidia’s design hit the runway. This two-piece ensemble is as luxurious as it is mysterious. We did not expect the skirt to open, but when it did, voila! This suddenly had the total WOW factor. Featuring layers of tulle and a long black train, this outfit was completed with lace details for a dramatic finish.

1. House of Perna, Amanda Perna

Hands down, this was our favorite look of the evening. The bright colors caught our attention the moment it appeared on the runway. We love the shape of the skirt and its playful, yet romantic nature. Plus, long, flowy sleeves are in right now, so there’s no going wrong with this ensemble for weekend brunch or a night out.
