Giving and Growing

I hope you are relaxed and rejuvenated from summer and ready for the bustling season ahead. It will be especially important to carve out “me time,” to keep a balanced life. We’re in luck—Spa & Wellness Month in The Palm Beaches takes place this month. We’ve rounded up the best deals and the most interesting treatments in our  October issue.

After some pampering, it’s time to hit the hottest events of the season. Discover amazing philanthropists and charities in the “Who’s Who In Charity” directory, where we present a comprehensive guide to local non-profits on a mission to dedicate their energies and resources to others. I’m certain you will recognize many of the faces representing these organizations, and I hope you will mark your calendar with their events.

Once you’ve figured out which galas, luncheons and fashion shows to attend this season, what’s next is deciding on an outfit. We’ve done the work for you with our feature “What to Wear Where." From whiteout parties to beach bashes, we’ve constructed the most appropriate looks for any gathering.

One of the area’s well known charitable couples not only beautifies homes with contemporary furniture and decor, but Rick and Pat Howard of Sklar Furnishings also bring color and life to so many through their philanthropic endeavors. As they celebrate their 15th year in business, they are also giving back in grand style.

In the spirit of giving back, it is my pleasure to let you know that we have increased our monthly circulation to provide more readers the opportunity to enjoy all we have to offer. We take pride in our growth during the more than 52 years we have been in business. We truly care about our advertisers, our audience and the long-standing relationships we enjoy with the communities we serve. It is that integrity that sets us apart. It is that passion that comes through in every issue we produce, the 360-degree coverage you receive. It is our goal to keep making you anticipate the next issue to arrive in your mailbox,
on the table in your doctor’s office waiting room, on the newsstand where you shop and on the social media you scour.
